I saw a picture of this pizza somewhere and it looked delicious, but it had no ingredients or recipe list, so I got creative.
Introducing, the Holy Crap! Pizza -
This is undoubtedly one of the best things I've ever made.
Ingredients:
Whole Foods pre-made crust
Trader Joe's pizza sauce. I accidentally bought fat free, but it's pretty amazing.
Mozzarella cheese (take it easy on this)
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
1/2 red pepper
1/2 can of black beans
Fresh basil leaves, chopped
Fresh chives, chopped
Balela (I bought it already made in TJs)
Put the olive oil and vinegar on the crush (just a little) before you put the pizza sauce on.
I baked on 400 degrees for 20 min. I originally had it on a pizza stone, but it worked better directly on the rack.
Even if you don't like the ingredients, this is one you HAVE to try. And the fresh basil makes it, by the way. Don't skimp.
